Gulf Aviation Academy announces that it has selected TRU Simulation + Training to provide it with its latest Airbus A320 Std. 2.0 Neo & CEO Full Flight Simulator (FFS) training device with qualification to Level D by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). This device is also equipped with a quad-engine option so that it can be configured to various fit outs as per the client’s actual aircrafts.”

QUOTE BY TRU: Vice President and General Manager of TRU’s Air Transport Simulation Division GEORGE KARAM
We are pleased to be chosen once again as the FFS provider of choice by Gulf Aviation Academy as they build on the current success of their existing pilot training programs. This is the second A320 FFS, provided by TRU, to join GAA’s simulator fleet in Bahrain. The TRU FFS will extend high-fidelity technology and cost-savings benefits to maximize GAA’s in-house training capabilities and fulfil the growing pilot training requirements in the MENA region.

QUOTE BY GAA: CEO – Cap. Dhaffer Alabbasi
“The 2019 expansion plans are in line with our strategic objectives to provide the best flight training services and modern training tools, not only in Bahrain but in the entire region. The new addition to our range of simulator models will play a key role in helping us to meet the growing demand both locally and regionally. Once installed in Bahrain, GAA will obtain all the necessary local and regional Civil Aviation Authority’s approval for training by their airlines and operators.”

QUOTE BY GAA: Senior Manager Strategic Planning – Osama Al-Sayed
“In conjunction with our current A320 simulators running at over 100% utilization for the past 3 years, we have also signed with a major client for a firm commitment of 12,000 training hours with GAA to be executed over the next two years here in Bahrain and this has effectively confirmed over 80% use of this fourth training device alone besides demand from others.
This device will allow us to attract more visitors to the Kingdom with the purpose of training that otherwise would not have visited the country perhaps. This has allowed us to coin the phrase “Train in Bahrain” that we promote with our clients and resulting in 92 per cent of our trainees came from outside Bahrain last year and over 7,000 trainees and contributing back to the Kingdom’s economy by US$ 5.2MN.
