GMR Aviation Academy (GMRAA), the aviation/airport training arm of the GMR Group based in New Delhi India, signed a Strategic Alliance Agreement with Gulf Aviation Academy, an established and accredited training academy in the Kingdom of Bahrain, as part of their expansion strategy. Each party shall offer in house programs in their campuses based on the requirements of the market in each country. GMR AA will initially offer a wide variety of their aviation programs in Bahrain targeting the potential market in the MENA region.
The agreement was signed by Mr P S Nair, Chief Executive Officer of GMR Airports Ltd. and Capt. Dhaffer AlAbbasi, Chief Executive Officer of Gulf Aviation Academy at the GMR Aviation Academy’s Hyderabad campus located at the Hyderabad International Airport on 17th July 2018. This agreement is aimed at combining the strengths of each party to explore the opportunities with such distinct fortes.
