Duration : 2 Days (12 Hours)
This course will outline the ship recycling steps and process from start to end. To covers all procedure of preparation, towing, mooring, hauling, breaking, cutting, emergency response, training etc. of vessel at shipbreaking yards. Modules will meet in compliance with OSHA standards and IMO Hong Kong Convention.
Program objective is train participants about the ship breaking step process and various work activities at breaking yard. Their action in case of any emergency response and safe work practices.
Personnel working on:
A minimum written test score of 70%. Students that fail the test will undergo remediation and be allowed 1 retest. A second failure requires repeating the course before they may take the test again. Student must satisfactorily perform hands-on evolutions as required by USCG.
Upon completion of this course candidate will be awarded with the Certificate of Ship Recycling Management Training. The certificate will be issued by GAA and is accepted by Bahrain’s Ports and Maritime Affairs Directorate.
