This program is comprising of the responsibility of managing food onboard, who prepare food by the way of preparation, service of food, handling and storage. This training meets with STCW standards and Flag state requirements.
bjective of this course is to make the employees working in the food industry well trained and equipped with correct understanding all aspects related to handling food and Beverage onboard.
Personnel working on:
A minimum written test score of 70%. Students that fail the test will undergo remediation and be allowed 1 retest. A second failure requires repeating the course before they may take the test again. Student must satisfactorily perform hands-on evolutions as required by USCG.
Upon completion of this course candidate will be awarded with the Certificate of Proficiency in MLC Food Handling Training. The certificate will be issued by GAA and is accepted by Bahrain’s Ports and Maritime Affairs Directorate.
