This program is designed to provide helicopter landing officer candidates with the knowledge to identify hazards, an overview of safe work practices for helideck operations and the skills to respond to any helicopter/helideck emergency on offshore platforms.
The course will give the participant an understanding of flight operations and prepare them to oversee landing, refueling, and takeoffs offshore.
Personnel working on:
A minimum written test score of 70%. Students that fail the test will undergo remediation and be allowed 1 retest. A second failure requires repeating the course before they may take the test again. Student must satisfactorily perform hands- on evolutions as required by USCG
Upon completion of this course candidate will be awarded with the Certificate of Proficiency of Hydrogen Sulphide training (H2S). The certificate will be issued by GAA and is accepted by Bahrain’s Ports and Maritime Affairs Directorate
