This course will be having more practical part in which candidates will learn cooking technique for bakery, pastry and various cuisines. This training meets with STCW standards and Flag state requirements.
This course is designed is to impart Maritime specific training to candidates seeking their career as a cook onboard which includes cooking technique, food handling, health and hygiene.
Personnel working on:
A minimum written test score of 70%. Students that fail the test will undergo remediation and be allowed 1 retest. A second failure requires repeating the course before they may take the test again. Student must satisfactorily perform hands-on evolutions as required by USCG.
Upon completion of this course candidate will be awarded with the Certificate of Proficiency in Cook Training. The certificate will be issued by GAA and is accepted by Bahrain’s Ports and Maritime Affairs Directorate.
