Duration : 5 Days (30 Hours)
This training meets with STCW standards and Flag state requirements. This training will more emphasis of Navigation rules (COLREG), Navigation watchkeeping, Emergency responses in various emergency, ability to operate craft, survival techniques, shipboard operation and activities.
The course will train the participant with knowledge of ships, Navigation, COLREG, seamanship, working procedure, weather affects, maritime security, operation of craft, repair & maintenance works
Personnel working on:
A minimum written test score of 70%. Students that fail the test will undergo remediation and be allowed 1 retest. A second failure requires repeating the course before they may take the test again. Student must satisfactorily perform hands-on evolutions as required by USCG.
Upon completion of this course candidate will be awarded with the Certificate of Proficiency in Able Seafarer Deck Training. The certificate will be issued by GAA and is accepted by Bahrain’s Ports and Maritime Affairs Directorate.
