GAA continues its efforts to attract regional trainees to keep pace with its future plans-ar

Manama, the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office – September 7, 2016: Gulf Aviation Academy was honoured to receive the visit of His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister of Bahrain and Chairman of Mumtalakat Company & Falcon Holding Group, whom was keen to review the financial performance of the academy as well as an update on business activities and developments.
He expressed his full satisfaction and confidence in the role the academy is actively playing in supporting the local and regional aviation industry. Since inception in 2010, the academy has been providing high-quality training solutions in accordance with a number of international accreditation bodies. The academy’s training packages have been developed for regional customers to confirm the Kingdom’s assertion of being ‘Business Friendly’ and undertakes all logistical support during their training.

His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa also reviewed the academy’s future plans for expansion both in increasing its local assets as well as widening its client’s base. H.E. praised the efforts and developments that GAA has invested in its operations and facilities since its inception stating “GAA ‘s focus on its upcoming expansion plans re affirms that the organization is a true investment for the Kingdom of Bahrain and its progress and new businesses in the aviation industry will continue to attract regional and international organizations and partnerships.”
In addition, H.E. was supportive of the academy’s current role in training airlines, air traffic controllers, airport and aviation security personnel, and general aviation management training courses – including the ongoing Bahrain International Airport Modernization Program.
